Richard is a Chartered Surveyor having qualified in 1986. He started his career in West Yorkshire, moving to Merseyside in 1983 and moving to work in Manchester in 1988 with Dunlop Heywood. He joined DTZ in 1992, and became head of the valuation team in 1996.
Richard’s experience is wide ranging across all sectors. He specialises in commercial valuation of land and property, commercial development and appraisal, acquisition, investment appraisal. He has been involved in a wide range of projects involving all the major asset classes, and regularly appears as an expert witness. His key clients include: RBS, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Santander, HSBC, Co-operative Bank and the Cohens Chemist Group.
